Principal's End of Year Letter

May 31st, 2025

The Final week of school was filled with a whirlwind of activities.  We had 3rd-5th Olympics, a 7th grade trip to Oahu, 8th Grade Skip Day, field trips to the park for some fun and games, final tests, 8th Grade vs Teacher Volleyball, Yearbook signing, baptisms, sad goodbyes, and last but not least 8th grade graduation.  It was a busy but beautiful week.  Thank you for another wonderful school year filled with learning and lifelong memories.

God’s Blessings

We have 5 staff members moving on this year.  We honored Mr. Potratz, Ms. Bradshaw, and Ms. Reynolds in chapel on Friday. We are so grateful for their years of service here at ELS.  We wish God’s Blessing to them as they move back to the mainland to continue their ministry in Nebraska, Colorado, and Florida.

We will say goodbye to Mrs. Kahalawei as she will take time to be a mom with a baby arriving later this summer.  We will give her a wonderful send off this summer.  And Lastly, Mrs. Johann will step down as an aide after serving two years.  We are grateful for all of their work with students over the past few years…… but we hope to see them on campus from time to time.
