Principal's Weekly Letter - Jan. 16

January 16th, 2025

Aloha ELS ‘Ohana,

Weekly Recap

My classroom visits were not as frequent this week.  All classes were busy taking their MAP tests and we are nearly finished in the first week of our testing window.  GREAT JOB!  Mr. Jurchen helped some student leaders as we learned some new choreography for one of the chapel songs.  Last but not least, preparation for Spirit Week is underway!  We are working to bring back a condensed version of *Field Day (thanks to Ms. Jordyn and our student council members for their hard work).  We honored our Math Counts competitors at chapel on Wednesday and had another 5th graders join the 500 CLUB in Accelerated Reader!!!

Support Athletics

Show your school pride and support our sports program by visiting the official Emmanuel Team Shop, opening this Monday, January 19th! We are excited to offer a fresh selection of team gear, and since 10% of every purchase goes directly back to our program, your support makes a real difference for our student-athletes. Keep an eye on your inbox this Monday for the official shop link, and be sure to get your orders in quickly, as the store will only remain open through February 9th!

*Maui Custom T-Shirts will still be our main provider for school uniforms.  This is simply an opportunity to get some new gear and support the RAMS!
