Weekly Recap

Wow!  What a week!  Spirit Week was filled with all sorts of awesome activities.  We had grade level challenges, dress days, singing at Roselani, a canned food drive, lip sync battles, raffle prizes, and the RETURN OF FIELD DAY!!!  It truly was an incredible week for all students.  


I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Ms. Jordynn.  She spearheads most of the activities that take place throughout the week and we are so grateful for her hard work.  I would also like to thank all of our parent volunteers for their help with Field Day this morning.  This week is a team effort and it’s always something kids remember.  We even had some alumni return today to watch their younger siblings in the Lip Sync battles.

Re-Enrollment (Repeat)

Just another Friendly Reminder  The priority window for current families is open until February 13th.  We will then move to students on the wait list.  We are currently lined up to have quite a few new families testing in the next few weeks.  Please take the time to get re-enrollment finished.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.  Financial Aid applications are also available through FACTS.

  • January 31st - Rummage Sale 

    • TOMORROW!  7:00 a.m. - NOON

    • PLEASE COME AND SUPPORT THE BAND!

  • February 7th - Math Counts - 8:30 - Maui Waena Intermediate 

  • February 9th - Musical Tryouts (after school)

  • February 16th - NO SCHOOL - President’s Day

  • February 20th - 6th Annual FUN RUN! - Early Dismissal 1:30 - No AFTER SCHOOL CARE

    • The Fun Run will KICK OFF on Monday, February 2nd. You should have received an email containing sign-up instructions. Donations can be submitted online, and the link specific to your student may be shared with friends and family. This event serves as our primary fundraiser, and all proceeds generated will be dedicated to the ongoing field project started during the Christmas break.

  • February 26th - OPEN HOUSE

    • 5:30-7:00 - PLEASE tell any prospective parents about our school.  There will be a free meal and an opportunity to see classrooms.  We would love to fill our classes for 2026-2027.  Full classes help our school both now and our plans for the future!! 

  • March 1st - Preschool Children’s Sunday

  • March 6th - Parent Teacher Conferences - No School

  • March 13th - Early Dismissal - NO After school care

    • NO Preschool Classes this day

  • March 16-27 - Spring Break

  • March 30th - Preschool & Kindergarten Testing Day - NO PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN CLASS this day


Chuch/School Connection - from Pastor Hosch

Pastor will be starting an Adult Instruction Class "So, you're Lutheran...What's that mean?" on Tuesday, February 17th beginning at 5:30pm in the 7th grade classroom.  This is an opportunity to learn more about what we as Lutherans believe, teach and confess. If you are interested in becoming a member of Emmanuel or are just a little bit curious, join us!


Spring Camp - From Mrs. Davenport

Check your calendars! If you need camp over Spring Break please contact Mrs. Davenport.  She is getting ready to send out registration.  Camps are available for any students (Grades K-8).  Cost is $200/wk or $50/day.


Accreditation Survey - Coming Soon!

Please take the time to help us in our accreditation process. In preparation for our upcoming accreditation visit in March 2027, we will be conducting a parent survey. Our comprehensive final report is due at the close of 2026, and we are diligently working to ensure the timely completion of our self-study. Your feedback is highly valued and constitutes a vital component of producing an accurate and complete report. The survey will be distributed on Monday, February 2nd, and the completion window will span three weeks. We kindly request that you allocate the necessary time to contribute your perspectives to this essential phase of our accreditation process.
