Principal's Weekly Letter - Oct. 27

ree

October 27th, 2025

Aloha ELS ‘Ohana,

Fall Festival

For some reason I didn’t send a Friday letter last week….  It must have had something to do with Friday being FALL FESTIVAL!!

Last week was a great week at school with lots of wonderful things going on in the classrooms but the culmination of the week was (without a doubt) the festivities on Friday night!

I cannot thank you enough for the support that was provided to bring everything together.  It all starts with Ms. Omura and the planning that takes place behind the scenes.  After that the entire staff pitches to get the classrooms rearranged and campus set up.  In addition to that the more than 60 volunteers that signed up for shifts and helped transform our campus into the Fall Festival setting and back in less than 24 hours.

We had over 900 people on campus throughout the day and were able to raise funds to support athletics, field trips, and classroom needs!

We thank the entire ELS ‘Ohana for their support of the annual community event!

Parking Lot Behind the Modulars

Many have shared concerns about neighbors parking parallel with One Street and blocking spots behind the modulars.  I am working to make contact with them to encourage different parking during pick up hours.

Have a wonderful week!  I will send another Friday Letter on Friday 🙂
